Don't let the rain stop you from having fun in West Palm Beach
Hello Darlings and Happy Rainy Monday:
This weekend was literally a wash out!!! The rain did keep me indoors so I did accomplish many chores and laundry! Also, gave me plenty of time to do more research of my upcoming European Vacation!
Rain is predicted for the rest of the week so I thought I would share some of my rainy day ideas to make sure you are still out and about enjoying the area:)
-Palm Beach Zoo:
Check their Facebook page for discounts. On rainy days they offer 1/2 admission!
I went a couple of weeks ago armed with my umbrella and had the entire zoo to myself! A few of the animals were more active since the Florida sun was not out.

-South Florida Science Museum & Aquarium:
Across the street from the Zoo, pop into the newly redone South Florida Science Museum.
Lots of fun activities, puzzles, brain teasers and exhibits on going. Currently on exhibit, Amazing Butterflies. A hand on exhibit to learn about the unique life of butterflies.

-Mandel Public Library:
This great library is located on Clematis Street. Something nostalgic about stepping foot inside a library and smelling the pages of thousands of books!
The Mandel library also hosts quite a few different workshops and classes.
From kids story time, to Pilates, Yoga for Kids and french lessons to name a few!
Check out their online calendar for more details:

City Place Movie Theater:
Yes, I know it is an obvious choice! But I really love this theater! 3 stories, perfectly decorated and a full bar with arcade make this a fun movie experience!
Over the weekend I saw Wonder Woman and Pirates of the Caribbean, while sipping on a glass of wine:)

-Revolutions City Place:
Eat, drink, rock & roll!!!!
A newer addition to City Place, Revolutions is a bowling alley, burger bar and arcade in one. A great way to easily spend a few hours indoors during a rain storm.
Their website is not always current so it is best to call them directly for any specials or lane reservations.

-Norton Art Museum:
Located just south of City Place you will find the Norton Art Museum. Currently the museum is undergoing a MASSIVE refurbishment so many of the galleries are closed. But the upside means FREE admission. And on Thursday evenings they stay open until 9pm with live music in the courtyard (weather permitting).

And last but not least if it is not raining too hard....put on your rain boots and splash in a few puddles! I promise you the pure joy from splashing in a puddle is amazing!!!!
Well ta ta for now Darlings!
Stay dry and do not let the rain stop you!!!
Insider tip:
Happy Hours are usually less crowded when it is raining.
Greta way to snag a couple of seats at the bar and watch the rain fall.
