A good time to start a new book and relax!
I was a happy lady this weekend!
Not only did my best friend come to town for a visit but we were able to see Blink 182 together!!!
Blink has been and will always be my fav 90s/early 2000 era band. Many nights I spent jamming away to this Punk Band!!!! I have seen Blink before about 5 years ago and I jumped at the chance to see them again!
Now one of their members, Tom DeLonge is no longer with the group, something about chasing Aliens..who knows..Matt Skiba is the newest member. He came from Alkaline Trio. I do miss Tom, but Matt brought a new level of energy and has amazing song writing talents.
The set list included some classics like I Miss You, Dammit and Feeling This along with new songs Bored to Death, Kings of the Weekend and Los Angeles.
This lady jammed out all night and relived some great memories!
It was also great to see so many fans of different ages!!!!
New and old we all came together to support an amazingly talented trio.
Travis Barker played those drums like a Champ!!!
Tat ta for now......after this post I think I need to listen to Blink for old times sake...
