Return to Reality after 3 days in Disney World

Hello Darlings:

As I am writing this my calves are screaming!!!! I just returned from 3 days of Disney fun at the Walt Disney World Resort. I can barely walk today! Over 15,000 steps each day!!!

I was fortunate to grow up in Florida and have Disney in my backyard (well 2.5 hours away). It was not unlike my parents to take me out of school on a Friday and jet up to Orlando for Disney Magic.

Even as an adult I till get excited and feel the magic once I pass through the front gates.

I met my sister, brother in law, 2 nieces and my best friend for some fun in the sun.

We elected to stay at The Swan and Dolphin Hotel. Now they are Starwood Hotels (not technically Disney owned) but are located on Disney Property. I find the rooms to be nicer, softer sheets and lower hotel rates as opposed to the Disney owned hotels. (Disclaimer I love ALL the Disney hotels, but the location of Swan/Dolphin is perfect for me!)

*Tip: Make sure to sign up to be a Starwood Preferred Guest. Rack up those points to earn free nights and other perks!!!

I love to spend most of my time at Epcot. The Swan and Dolphin are walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios along with Disney Boardwalk and the Beach/Yacht Club Hotels.

The International Gateway entrance to Epcot is much quieter and you enter directly into the World Showcase!! Nothing like starting the day with a glass of Rose' from France!!!!

Epcot does a great job with Character Meet and Greets so even the young children can meet ALL their favorite characters!!!! The Finding Nemo ride is relaxing and charming! Not too be missed and the line moves along quickly!!

The new Frozen attraction is under construction in Norway, it should be opened in a few months.

The main point of this trip was to experience the Epcot Flower Festival. The entire park has thousands of flowers, character topiaries, gardens, butterflies and more created just for this beautiful event. Also a few pop of food kiosks are available for a quick bite (Similar to the Food and Wine Festival)

All in all it was yet another magical trip filled with laughter, good wine, great company, amazing new memories! Oh and I did get a new sparkly tiara!!!! After all what girl isn't a Princess at Heart.

*Always take time to smell the flowers!!! Don't let the hustle and bustle ever get the best of you!!! We all deserve a break and time to experience some magic

Ta Ta for now Darlings!!
