South Florida Science Center

I popped over to the newly renovated South Florida Science Center and Aquarium on Sunday and I was not let down! A dinosaur exhibit (temporary) dazzling aquarium, hands on puzzles, hurricane machine and more!!!! I let my inner child out to play for a couple of hours!

The Aquarium was great with many types of fish, an alligator and and Everglades exhibit.

TIP: look for the glass tube to stand in so it looks like you are in the aquarium with the fish! A great photo op.

The Dinosaur exhibit was amazing!! Many different types of robotic dinosaurs!

Iguanadon, T-Rex and Velicaraptor to name a few!!! There are lab coats you can borrow for some extra fun while you do some excavating for fossils.

For an extra fee make sure to view the 15 min planetarium show. Its a relaxing show and the Narrator will point out the stars and constellations.

My inner nerd had fun too with the puzzle and educational center.

And for some of the more difficult puzzles they do have cheat sheets to help you out!!!

And of course no trip to a museum is complete with out a stop in the gift shop! I picked up a small stone as a token of my fun Sunday.
